Haas Releases 2024 VF-24 F1 New Sport Car
The launch season of F1 has officially begun, with the American team, Haas, being the first to reveal the appearance of their 2024 car. The team recently made headlines by ending their association with their long-time team boss, Guenther Steiner. They have now unveiled digital renders of their new VF-24 car along with its brand-new livery.
Haas Reveals new-look for 2024 VF-24
The renders show a livery that is mostly a continuation of last year’s design, with a refreshed color scheme to reflect the team’s ongoing sponsorship with MoneyGram.
Haas’ new car is an evolution of the upgraded car it fielded last year, with more sculpted side pods and a new chassis with some repositioned radiator components and a revised impact protection bar. The changes put the car closer in line with the updated cars seen by McLaren and others last year.
The latest version of the Haas car is a significant improvement over last year’s aerodynamic redesign from Austin. The front of the VF-24 remains similar to the 2023 single-seater. The team had already redesigned the front wing by the end of last season. This could be an indication of what we can expect to see on the Ferrari SF-24 as well.
When will it be Unveiled?
Nico Hulkenberg, a team driver, has been assigned to early testing duties. He will be driving the car at Silverstone Circuit on February 11. The team is scheduled to meet in Bahrain for pre-season testing from February 21 through 23, with the first race happening there on March 2.
There is a lot of work ahead of us to make progress and improve our performance. But, everyone here is highly motivated and eager to get on track with the VF-24.
