The 2024 BMW X5 comes in three distinct models with three different powertrains. The sDrive40i x5 is paired with a 375 horsepower turbocharged engine. There it can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. Later, the slightly more powerful xDrive50e version offers a turbocharged inline-six and an electric motor that produces 483 horsepower.
Again, the m60i’s twin-turbo engine produces 523 horsepower and accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds. Each of the three power trains we discuss is mated to an Art Speed automatic transmission.
